A solid-state single-longitudinal-mode (SLM) laser excites only one oscillation mode in the resonator, producing a single frequency and single spatial mode. The output meets both single transverse mode (TEM00, Gaussian beam profile) and single longitudinal mode (only one longitudinal mode—i.e. one frequency—oscillates in the cavity). With an ultra-narrow linewidth, excellent power stability, and outstanding coherence, monochromaticity, and beam directionality, SLM lasers are ideal for Raman spectroscopy, interferometry, photodetection, fluorescence excitation, confocal microscopy, and other optical measurements in universities and research institutes.            

Single-Longitudinal-Mode CW Laser

The PLCTS Single-Longitudinal-Mode CW Laser operates in CW mode with a TEM00 transverse mode. Compact and robust, it offers superior coherence, directionality, and monochromaticity. Four center wavelengths—532 nm, 671 nm, 780 nm, and 1064 nm—are available. With an ultra-narrow linewidth and excellent power stability, the PLCTS series can be customized for wavelength, power, and other specifications, making it an ideal choice for university labs and research institutes.
